Las Vegas, Nevada - March 2006
Barbara and I headed out from San Diego, across the high-desert towards Las Vegas. It's about a four hour trip and it was beautiful, though I-15 could use some work.

The original Flamingo was the first hotel built by Bugsy Siegal back in 1946. But the current one was built about 10 years ago.

Across the street from the Flamingo is Ceasers Palace. Next to Ceasers is Bellagio which has a fantastic fountain display.

At night the Strip is spectacular. Barbara and I walked from our hotel all the way up to the new Wynn Hotel and the old Riviera Hotel.
