| Carribbean Cruise - January 2007 |
Carol and I took a week long cruise from Miami to the Carribbean. After breakfast onboard, I'm ready to start exploring. And where better to start than on the Explorer of the Seas! |
The first stop was Belize City. From the rotating bridge, check out the Pelicans on the roof. |
Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Belize (built 1843). |
Inside, it was beautiful. |
In the harbor at Belize you can see another cruise ship from our room's balcony. |
In Costa Maya, Carol and I headed inland to the Mayan ruins at Chacchoben. Where Carol put her butt on the sacred temple. |
Just kidding, the sacred part was up beyond the ropes. |
The ruins at Chacchoben are magnificent, there are several different pyramid structures. Some are still not uncovered. More pics?? |

The size of these cruise ships are phenomonal! And they keep building them bigger and bigger. That's ours on the right. |
Leaning over the rail on our balcony, at the pier in Costa Maya. Next to us is another Royal Carribbean ship and down at the end of the pier is a third ship. |
At the pier in Cozumel, Mexico. Ready to shop! |
Our cruising dinner partners were a lot of fun, Don and Kathy from Indiana and Tom and Angela from Canada. |
