Down through Illinois to St.Louis, we have decided to go way south and find warm weather, that means south Texas! |

Tom looks good in a Vette! I wonder if I'll ever get a chance to drive? Down thru Oklahoma into Texas and on to Dallas. Thru Austin, to San Antonio. |

San Antonio is a beautiful city, .got the Spurs, the Riverwalk and the Alamo. |

The Alamo, still stands in the heart of the city. Quite a piece of Texas history. |

Peaceful gardens now fill the old mission where Texas Freedom began over 150 years before. |

500 miles across west Texas on the road to El Paso. |

Mucho scenery! It's late Monday (2/19) and we'll make 1720 miles when we finally get to El Paso. |

Endless vistas looking deep into Mexico to the south across the Rio Grande, we'll be heading into New Mexico and Arizona tomorrow. |
